These 12ga dummies are EXACTLY what I wanted!
I shoot cowboy action SASS matches every weekend. Practicing 3 or 4 times a week, mostly dry-fire, handling the guns and equipment, transitions, etc. This requires SNAP CAP type ammo for a 12ga. At first I simply reloaded some dummy rounds and put some epoxy glue in the firing pin holes..(you MUST fill the holes or break your firing pin with that much dry fire!).. they lasted 3 sessions before they were misshapen (from hitting the deck when reloading the 12ga), and firing pin made deep dents in the epoxy. So, I bought some of the expensive "A-Zoom" 12ga snap caps. They lasted quite well, but finally began to wear out from the constant chipping away, due to the heaviness of A-Zoom hitting the floor. Eventually the chips would fall through the extractor on a SxS shotgun, and you couldn't close the gun. One thing I did not like with A-Zooms was its "heaviness" feel? Like a chunk of concrete? It slips nicely into the gun, but when dry firing and shucking the shells, the A-Zooms would literally FLY OUT OF THE CHAMBERS?. This is not what it would do when shucking empty shells. So, I spotted these "B's Snap Cap for 12ga" on Amazon. For the price, I gave 'em a try. So far?.. they're GREAT! The shell is exactly like a live round, they're light, and the firing pin hole is filled with a substance that is amazing. They are made like a real 12ga shell, feel like a real 12ga shell, and best of all, they seem to shuck out of my shotgun like an empty 12ga shell would!.. If I had to say something bad about the "B's Snap Caps", it'd be the fact that they come with 9 shells per order?.. 10 shells would be perfect! (you can see the A-Zoom fills the 10th spot on my belt). So far, so good.. I'd definately buy another 9 should any of there wear out!

Great for 3 gun practice
I needed to practice Quad loading for 3 gun matches. These things are perfect. They are the same size and weight of actual shotgun shells. They have low brass bases and a piece of rubber where the primer would be so there is no harm to the firing pin. I have cycled these dummy rounds through my shotgun more times than I can count and they function flawlessly and still look like they did when I bought them. If you are looking for practice rounds this is what you are after.

Well made, but having issues.
To start, I'm using this product in my Mossberg 590A1. So this review is relevant to my shotgun only as I don't have another to try it in.The good...1. Love the weight of these practice rounds, they are substantial.2. Love the quality of these rounds, they look and feel like the real thing.3. Love to practice with these rounds, because it just feel right. The not so good...1. The brass portion of the shell is about 2/3's the height of an actual shell. Not the end of the world, but it would be nice if it were full size.2. The end of the shell is not perfectly round like a normal shell, rather it is hexagonal because of the folding over of the plastic. It would be nice if they were round.3. I have no problems with rounds not cycling. I haven't quite figured out how they get caught, I just know that I have to rack 1-2 times on the first set of rounds and the last two to three I end up racking 5-7 before I start monkeying with the gun. Note, I have no problems with live ammo.If you buy these rounds, you will likely need to have a bit of patience, maybe take a rubber or wooden mallet to the points.

Works fine
I bought too many of these for my mossberg 590 A1, but it does what it's supposed to... good for practice loading, and dry firing. Solidly built.

Three Stars
These are good for reload training but the medals soft and wear out after awhile. Still worth the price.

Weight is compairable to the real thing.
These add the weight you need and function just like the real thing. Don't let them hit hard surfaces to prevent damage to them they are a little soft. Eject them over carpet, that is the best.

Great
I like that they're white, so as not to confuse them with the real thing, assuming that you don't have REAL white ones around. They load and eject well. Very good for practice in the house. I point in a safe direction anyway, just in case a live one snuck in there somehow! Nice that they have a rubber primer as not to ware out your fitting pin. Great for checking out a new shotgun. I have two sets of these. I used a marker pen and wrote the word DUMMY on two sides of the round. I will buy more soon! Expensive, but none better.
