Firstly, this product fits very snugly into the place of the old part. I think that for an old car it is an excellent replacement part and saves me a great deal of money and time.The only issues I have with this product are that it is glossy soft plastic and scratches very easily. There is a hole on one side that has a rubber insert that doesn't secure and can easily be pushed out. There is a slot on the other side that won't fit the the insert from the old part. This description won't make much sense unless you're intimately familiar with the product.The greatest take away is that the product does bolt in and secure very well. It feels like a good part. Maybe it will out live the car.

Removing latch button and locking button from the old unit takes much longer than shown in any you tube video. This is due to corroded and seized screws. The replacement liftgate handle was a perfect fit and easy to install reused parts in the new unit. Kit should contain a replacement rubber seal for the liftgate latch switch or advise to buy the part separately. This rubber seal is much easier to install before installing the unit on the car.

Came with all the pieces I needed and feels much more sturdy than the original. Black worked well for my black 2007 Prius. You will probably want to buy the replacement handle as the other one can get pretty rough. My only complaint is that instead of the Toyota logo, the attached sticker seems to be of the Eye of Sauron instead.

This was easy to install, and it did the trick. I don't mind that my car is silver and the handle is black. It looks kinda cool! Seems sturdy. Be sure to thread the latch through the holes first. It helps to separate the metal reinforcing from the plastic when you do that. It was a cinch to transfer the lock button.

The main screw holding one side of the part came out. It wasn't glued properly.

This part fit perfectly and with the metal enforcement I’m expecting it’ll last longer than the car. I have a dark gray Prius but installed this unpainted but that matches the dark rear glass above and it looks factory original. I think it looks better than the body colored painted handle.

This was a 30-minute install, even though it didn't come with instructions. I should note that the nuts did not come with the kit, so hopefully you have yours still.
