I have tried many products for my shoulder length fine very curly hair. I find gels work the best as they seem "lighter" than curling creams (shea butter type etc), which, even if you use just a little every day the product builds up and my hair is far less bouncy using those types of creams. It's not a "wet look" gel. I am impressed enough to order a second tub! (Its lasted about 3 months so pretty good value for money).... I only use a little at a time though. I also use this Sofn'free Olive Oil Styling Gel in conjunction with a little brazilian keratin oil when my hair's freshly washed. Hope this review helps others with fine caucasian curly hair :-) My hair has no frizz any more !! (Oh, and it really helps to sleep on a satin pillowcase) :-)
