Its barely long enough to use as a face covering - so not impressed
Its not long enough so will not stay around the face. Obviously nothing anyone would wear in the desert.I have started wearing it as a cravat on my walks. If a runner goes past I hold it to my face.I advise you to try and find the real article. I have started looking again. After washing to get rid of the evil chemical smell, it has now shrunk to the size of a large handkerchief. It also dyed everything else in the wash bright green.Avoid at all costs and treat this seller with caution.

Toilet Rag
One star for the seller actually delivering a square of fabric. On opening the package I can only begin to describe the horrid stench this thing has. It actually knocked me sick. I’m talking care home commode level stink. I’m going to have to throw it out as it STILL stinks after washing it (even with oxy powder).Aside from odours, it is a thin poor quality rag that is loose in stitching across the board. Upon receipt it was evident that the stitching was pulling up and out of the cloth. I can only imagine this will resemble mr messy by the end of a week of use. It’s very low quality, very thin, lots of pulled threads already.I had a cheap one from Saudi that lasted me three years, whereas this didn’t seem to survive delivery. I may as well have thrown my money down the toilet. (It certainly smells as though I have).Final important note. No fabric care label / EC label or any markings whatsoever. Doesn’t seem very legit and could be a potential fire hazard as most fabrics are made not to go up in flames instantly.Ive bought higher quality dish towels from Poundland, and they’re probably safer.

Colour is not set ruined clothes
The colour comes off on a white T-shirt and have to wash it several times to make sure all the colour comes out I would not buy ever again, unfortunately I bought three and didn't wear until after the return window closed

Take care - in my experience Item did not wash well.
This is the second of these I've bought (from same seller, I have to say a smooth quick transaction on both occasions). I was initially really very pleased, hence my ordering a second in different colour. However, I ordered the second before needing to wash the first, which I did do before the second arrived. I used a gentle wash cycle at 30 degrees but disappointingly after washing it became sort of wrinkly. I think perhaps the two different coloured threads in the material behave differently in washing(?), causing a ruffle or wrinkled texture to develop. There were no washing instructions either on the item or the packaging but 30°C is usually recommended for washing delicate clothes e.g., wool and silk, when combined with a delicate cycle so I was surprised that something described as "100% Woven Cotton" and, especially, "Military Grade" deteriorated so much on just a first wash. A great shame as these a very good looking and otherwise appear well made. When I have to wash my second purchase (I have some trepidation about doing this) I will try using just cold or at most very cool water.

Not good quality and not the real thing
After this arrived today I thought I'd wash it before wearing it as precaution. After I washed it on its own on a delicate wash I hung it out to dry... after inspection when it had dried... I could see the cotton was coming apart and it looks like its developing holes already... and I haven't even worn this once. So bad quality and definitely not an original Shemagh.

Good Quality for the Money
The Item arrived on time.Once I checked it for faults, I hand washed, in warm water, adding a hand full of salt, then rinsed in plenty of cold water, as recommended. Sadly it lost a lot of colour and has dried dark Grey rather than very Black. Which isn't a Problem for me personally. I was also pleased that it isn't as *Thick* as some Others I own. Which means I can wear it to cover my face, (Pandemic Mask), now, in the warmer days. Over all it's Good Quality, very good value for Money

Great to begin with but after washing...
Brought this as a second Shemagh whilst my other is in the wash. All seemed great at first, size was perfect and could neatly creat a perfect triangle shape for a face covering. However after washing it and allowing to dry naturally outside it srank and I can no longer fold into a triangle, one side becomes longer and wider, and less excess to tie in a secure knot. This is by no means the biggest issue in world and can still use as a face covering but to say my other one is an ex-army issue and was half the price I think I will only use my local surplus store to source my Shemaghs from now on.

Good size, decent colour, decent weave, not the best cotton but very economical.
I’ve had many of these over the years as they are very useful in almost any weather. This one is a good colour, good size, slightly thinner cotton that is not quite as soft as some more expensive versions. It also lacks the distinctive large knotted plaits at each corner. But I bought it as a warm weather scarf so it’s probably going to be fine.
