I didn’t want to use my expensive DeWalt batteries for work, so I decided to order these. These batteries actually include protective covers for the contacts (this is more related to shipping requirements, but I use them for when I put them in my work bag).First thing I noticed is that the first time you charge these it takes a LONG time. It took all night to charge both batteries. However, I noticed that as I depleted them and then recharged them, the second time around was much faster.I used these batteries in my DCH273 Rotary Hammer drilling 1/2” holes. This thing absolutely eats battery power for breakfast and without remorse. I was able to get 20 holes per battery, drilling 10” deep. I noticed no power reduction, when the batteries were depleted they simply stopped drilling. I’d assume this is the cutoff circuit to prevent over-discharge.The actual build quality of the batteries is very similar to the factory DeWalt ones. The plastic used is a bit cheaper, but weight-wise they feel similar to my “real” ones. I had no issues mounting them, I even used one on my circular saw and impact driver.I’m not convinced these will last over a year or consistent use, but even if they don’t I’ve already got my moneys worth out of them and was pleasantly surprised. I had no issues charging them, they fit the tools perfect like the factory batteries (I’ve had some generic batteries that wobble quite a bit when in the tool).I’ll update this review if anything should come up (unexpected).

Works very well glad I bought it

purchased another knock off two years ago.. they did pretty well.. this time purchased from Temmoer but these failed way too fast..had for apps 5 months.. the 5-amp for dewalt.. one just stopped charging, the other shows charged, but has no output. Warranted for 24 months.. contacted vendor through Amazon… they did respond back quickly and sent replacement batteries within a week. Very impressed by this.. plus, they sent the 6ah batteries vs 5.. and from what i see, these appear and feel like they are a better quality than the 5ap. I’m a heavy Dewalt tool user, so I’ll know in 30–60 days if these are going to hold up.

Very impressed with the fit and finish of the 20v 6ah batterys and how well it worked with my tools and Dewalt charger. I already ordered a second set. Using the battery's for my sons john deer power wheels gater. Can't say how long the will last but so far working out great.

Good replacement for Dewalt tools

These are not the quality of original DeWalt batteries, I was not expecting them to be. They are most definitely worth the money, I use them in chainsaws and drills and they hold up quite well. I have purchased twice and happy with both purchases.

I was very excited to try these batteries out. I was disappointed to find the first battery would only charge halfway according to the indicator lights, however it completely died almost immediately. The second battery was charged for hours and would not hold any juice.

from my experience these last just as long as name brand batteries as far as run time and life time.
