GEARWRENCH 48 Pc. 1/4" Drive 6 Pt. Impact Socket Set, Standard & Deep, SAE/Metric - 84902

Was looking for impact sockets as good as tool truck brands. End up getting Gearwrench. Because other sockets I was looking at didn’t met my needs. Needed a case I can remove cover. If needed. And good quality sockets for me. Saved my self $300 as I was looking at Matco. No complaints

This set of Gearwrench 1/4" drive impact sockets are awesome!! I love the quality of the sockets and they come in a really nice case. Each socket has the size printed twice plus laser etched at the bottom. Perfect balance of quality and price. I'm a heavy equipment mechanic and another mechanic I work with that only buys snap on tools couldn't believe how nice these were and how little they cost me. He has a very similar set of 1/4" drive non impact sockets but his set did come with a little ratchet and small extension. The guy paid $600 for his!! Don't get me wrong I've got a few pair of snap on cutters, blue point filter wrenches and couple other things off that truck but damn don't go broke making stupid purchases like him! Buy this set you won't regret it

I have this set, the 3/8 and 1/2 inch drive as well. Black finish seems easy to scratch when the socket rubs on just about anything. One set got wet and showed surface rust which I quickly addressed with Deep Creep oil. I love them though. Way easier to identify the size than chrome sockets with hard to read etching. I also love the case because at the end of the day at work, I instantly know if a socket is missing and what size. I also like that I don’t have to pick up a strip of sockets to see the size. These are all labeled both on the socket and the case which I can see at a glance.

Works well but good god are they expensive

O conjunto de soquetes vem acondicionado num estojo muito prático e aparentemente bastante resistente. Quanto aos soquetes propriamente ditos, o conjunto é o mais completo que eu já vi no mercado. Vem nos dois sistemas (métrico e SAE) e em dois tamanhos, curto e longo. A qualidade e o acabamento das peças me parecem ótimos, mas quanto à resistência isto só o tempo e o uso poderão responder. Resumindo, considero que foi uma excelente compra.
