Major flaw in manufacturing, modification in machine shop needed to make this work.
If you dont have access to quite a few tools this will not assemble correctly. The t nuts on the main pad by embroidery were placed at incorrect locations. I had to modify a mounting hole in the main support bar stock in order to make this piece assemble properly. Also there is general workmanship issues with upholstery work. Hidem is ment to hide staples not have staples randomly in.

Great bench for the price. Perfect for your home gym.
This is a great bench for the price. Easy to assemble and not awkward how the weight is distributed. When I purchased the bench the advertisement on line read that it can withstand up to 600lbs I found out differently when I opened the box and was assembling the bench and the directions advised up to 300lbs. I don’t plan on going to 600lbs it’s for my home gym. I already put the first work out in the books with it and it was great. Also it doesn’t take up a lot of space.

Good for the price
The bench is perfectly adequate but I deducted one star for the poor condition of the (re)packaging (particularly the loose hardware). When it arrived the box was moderately damaged and the hardware pack had been opened so there were screws and washers loose everywhere. Fortunately none of the hardware was missing, and I was able to assemble in about 5-10 minutes (with the aid of a good screwdriver and allen key bit (not included).I'm 6'1" and the bench is long enough for me to do all of the movements that I typically do on a flat bench, and seems sturdy enough for me to do plyometric jumping movements without being concerned that it will break or wobble.

Great bench for the price!
I recently started the Kayla Itsines BBG workout plan and needed a bench for the workouts. This was easy to assemble and works perfect! Great simple bench that gets the job done.

Nice bench!
This is actually a very nice bench. I was worried it was going to be cheaply made since it only cost $40, but it's very well made. It was very easy to put together, and it took me by myself about 20 minutes to insert all the screws. Everything u need to put it together is included. The bench is well-padded, sturdy, and a good height. I'm 5'4, 140 lbs and it's very comfortable for me with extra room.I would definitely recommend this bench to anyone needing a cheap but sturdy workout bench.

the bench assembled easily and feels solid with no wobbling
The bench assembled easily and feels solid with no wobbling. My first work out with the new bench went well. I'll only work out with dumbbells, so I don't envision any issues in terms of weight loads.A few recommendations...1. Be careful when opening the shipping box. The package that contains the bolts and washers had opened in transit. Had I opened the box in the wrong area, it could have been a bear to find the washers after they spilled out. Fortunately, I opened the shipping box on the living room carpet, so it was easy to corral the runaway washers.2. Do not tighten any of the bolts until you have all of the bolts in and they've begun to thread. You have to jiggle things a bit to get all holes lined up. If you tighten things down ahead of time, you won't be able to jiggle the pieces enough to get all of the bolts threaded.3. There is an allen wrench provided in the shipment. (It was the only tool I needed to complete the assembly.) At first, I didn't see it and thought I'd have to head to the store to buy a metric allen wrench to tighten the bolts, but as I rummaged through the packaging material, the allen wrench appeared. I'm not sure if it was in the same package as the bolts and washers and had broken free, or if it was free swimming in the box. Anyway, it is there, so keep an eye out for it.4. The washers tend to cling to one another, so it is easy to put two washers on a bolt and not notice. I ended up thinking I was two washers short as I was ready to put the last two bolts into place. On closer examination, I noticed two of the partially inserted bolts had two washers on them. For the price and for my purpose, it fits the bill.

it's a bench.
This bench that I received appears to have been a return from a previous customer. Instructions on where to place the safety warning stickers, yet the stickers were already placed on the bench. Hardware packet was ripped open already, and there were 5 less screws and washers than required to complete assembly. Granted, a trip to the hardware store and fifty cents solved the issue, but it was frustrating and inconvenient nonetheless. There are so many basic benches to choose from out there, not sure I'd go with this one.

Love it!
Good build, quality and design. Easy to assemble as well. Some folks mentioned their shipment was missing nuts and screws. Please check the bubble wrap and corner flaps of the carton it ships in. Although mine wasn't missing anything, the package was damaged (see photo) and the nuts and screws were all over the place inside the carton it was shipped in. But no damage to the actual product. Benched about 120 pounds and it holds the weight easily. Holding well after a couple of months use with pulls up as well. Satisfied with it and will definitely recommend.

Surprisingly Sturdy Bench- assembly tip
Surprisingly sturdy for a $70 bench- no issues with use, the vinyl upholstery/cover is decent but not "gym" quality and feels a little baggy, durability will be determined with use. Wobbling on initial assembly was completely eliminated by loosening and re-tightening the bolts incrementally, took a bit of fiddling- would recommend installing all bolts loosely at first and then slowly increasing tightness of each bolt.

DISC INJURY
Probably putting this bench on Kijiji now got injured with it. What happend was I sucked at time management that day and didn't have time to go to the gym. So I pulled out this bench out from my basement and started one arm dumbbell bench pressing to work on my imbalances a little bit. Although, since it's hard to find a perfectly even surface in my basement I placed the bench on a very slight incline. However, this bench needs to be almost constantly re-tightened with an allen key to make it perfectly level and since I was in a rush I skipped doing it. Second last rep of my final set I feel my disc shift up and to the side as the same directions as the incline and the slight bench tilt from the loose bolts. Literally felt like I've been stabbed in my lower back by a thousands knives for three days straight. If I wasn't so careless it wouldn't have happend. However, re-tighten this bench every time you use it to avoid my mistake.

Okay but description is deceiving.
The weight capacity in the description when I bought it stated 600lbs -- which is why I spent the $30 extra on it instead of buying the one on sale at Canadian Tire. Looking at the paperwork after I set it up it said 300lbs. Feeling a bit deceived but it s set up and it does its job for me. We might run into problems when my son starts using it. It looks nice and is a good height. Easy to assemble.

Missing parts
The box was very beat up and it’s basically missing all the hardware. The package that the hardware was in is destroyed. Giving it a 1 star for now because I can’t do anything with it.
