Q: Are these for placing the legs straight or tilted?

This kit places the legs straight. There are 2 differing methods in the kit , using the metal plates or screwing directly into the wood using the screw sleeves. I have actually managed to find two projects for the kit and found both methods work

Q: What size hole should be drilled into the legs to fit the female adapters ?

I used an 8mm drill as i was going in to some round legs and then eased it a bit with the drill to get it to the point I could get a hex wrench in to ensure the fit was tight but not split the wood

Q: Would these be suitable for bath feet?

I do not think they would take the weight of a bath full of water

Q: could the square metal plates be used to replace plastic bath feet. I already have the nuts and bolts but need a more robust foot.

Yes they could be modified to fit
