I like this badge holder a lot, being able to quickly take my badge out is convenient. We have a gate that our badge needs to rub up against to unlock, I am able to do this without taking the badge out of the holder, makes it really convenient. I only ever need to take it out when passing through security when the guard has to inspect each badge by hand. Otherwise this works through the case just fine.Some CONS about this product is the clip in the back is just awkwardly placed. I wish this just had a hole on the very top for the clip, like other badge holders. The clip in the back makes the badge droop and face downward. This makes it prone to snagging on things. I snag this thing probably once a day when getting up from a desk. Its really embarrassing when this happens because the plastic is very loud. Furthermore, this has caused the metal clip on my lanyard to become bent. It will eventually break and I will have to replace it. Lastly, the sliding mechanism gets worn out after about 3 months of daily use. The badge will sometimes pop 1/4 of the way out on its own, I feel this may eventually lead to the badge falling out completely the more worn out it gets.Depending on your level of use and work environment, this may or may not be useful for you. I cannot say I recommended it, but it is definitely worth a try.

Tight card fit plus leverage on the card extractor means you can easily launch your card 10-15ft when you don't want to, such as when it's on a lanyard and pointed at your face.

My sister works for the government and received a similar ID holder for her job. As a college student, I have an ID for campus and was looking for a holder that I could put on my keychain, therefore when I saw my sisters, I was jealous! So I was very happy to find this one online for a good price for the quality. It works well, the slider has never gotten stuck or failed! The only complaint is the back has a raised plastic slot for it be attached on a keychain, and that part of it is kinda cheap and thin and I almost broke it putting my keychain ring on it. So, I would advise not to use a normal key ring for attachment, I would advise buying one of the things they offer on here to hook to it, and I wish it just came with one! So be careful when attaching your key chain to it! That is just a minor complaint that I wouldnt let affect your purchase of this item, I love it!

I bought this Frosted Vertical Rigid Card Dispenser and its twin dual horizontal card dispenser just to see what is look like. I didn't think that this extractor slide would be very useful for me until I tried it. I had to carry two swipe cards for my job and since I had chewed up a couple of key cards in last three years (4 cards) I decided to treat my current swipe card with baby glove. These card dispenser did the trick very well. I attached it to my belt key ring reel and extract the card when I need it. It gave the card protection it needed and it can easily extract the card too.

I use a smart card to log into my computer and was looking for something that was really easy to get my card out of. My card kept falling out of the side loading holder my work gave me & I had to secure it with a rubber band...really annoying. I have only had it a few days and LOVE it. Your card slides in the top and you use the red thing to push it up to get it out. It slides really easy and I don't have to worry about losing it. It only holds 1 card. The only issue I see is the plastic thing on the back where you attach it to your lanyard. It will be interesting to see how long it holds up before breaking.

This is the badge holder that came with my ID badge at my previous job, and I've missed it since I started my new job. The hard plastic protects my bus pass from bending and water damage, and it's not like the soft plastic that rips over time and has to be replaced. That is why it's worth the higher price.

My badge is on the thinner side and this holder makes it fit like a glove. If you have to take your badge out for door entry (we have to slide ours in a reader) and also used as a smart badge for the PC, this holder is perfect to use to take your badge out over and over. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I bought this for my husband for his work ID card, since the one given with his card by the company broke. It is very sturdy, yet easy to use. My husband continues to use it with the lanyard I purchased, instead of resorting to put the ID in his wallet like he used to do. He is very pleased with it.
