Reviews I read said this was difficult to assemble. We didn't find it that hard; however, it was an engineer (not me) doing the work. This is a high quality product. It isn't flimsy at all. It's like stiffened felt. The color is cherry red.

The video instructions for assembly are pretty bad. You’ve got to pause, play it in slow motion, and rewind many times. I consider myself a fairly capable individual at tasks like this, and it took me about two hours to assemble.I’m pretty happy with the result, though. Honestly, I’d probably buy something similar again, as it was a fun craft project to assemble.

Assembly was not that bad. It’ll take 30 mins or so. When removing the pieces initially from the mold, some may not come off easily. Use a scissor rather than pulling hard as the piece may rip. During assembly, the pieces are held together by inserting the tab into an eyelet (similar to buttoning a shirt). Once the tab goes into the outlet, it is not so easy to pull it out completely from the other side. I would recommend using a tweezer to pull the tab, makes assembly much easier, saves time, and avoid damage to the tab. I don’t think I’ll be disassembling it as it will fragilise the tabs and next assembly may be more difficult. Also, note that there are only 6 hangers although there is a hole at the tail end to put another one. Not sure why 6 is provided and not 7. Im just assuming that maybe it has to do with 7 not being a good number in Chinese (as opposed to 7 being lucky 7 in the west).

Beautiful quality, color and material. Must be assembled. Written instructions incomplete. I reviewed video multiple times but speed, angle of camera, hands covering the material made me very very frustrated.

I wanted a decoration for my New Year celebration. There is some assembly, but it’s really some folding and inserting tabs. Directions were clear and I got the hang of it pretty quickly. The dragon is light and made from a stiff felt. One piece of short string is provided so plan on buying ties for either side. Also, to get the spiral from the center pieces you have to pull each side tightly. It’s a great decoration (very detailed) & I plan to display it for many years to come!

You have to be an engineer to put this together. Too difficult. I actually tossed it and accepted the loss of money.

Sturdy and decorative when finally put together, but logically it appears to be short one hanging tassel and the directions -- when I decided to ignore them and just figure it out it went much faster.

It's fairly easy to assemble and the sturdy felt material holds up well. It also IS NOT missing any pieces as i first believed. If you think you only have 3 pendants and 1 front whisker piece, it's because you haven't peeled the pieces apart from one another. LOL! I did buy red string, as the single piece provided wasn't long enough for me. I also opted not to force the T-hooks of the pendants through the holes of the body and tied it with string instead.

Der Neujahrsdrache ist sehr schön anzusehen und passt sehr gut für unsere Frühlingsfestdekoration. Zudem macht schon der Zusammenbau des Drachens der ganzen Familie Spaß. Der Filz ist hochwertig und alles passt und hält. Also im Fazit eine Rundherumempfehlung.

It’s a one page instruction that’s a bit tricky and you need to look at specific details for a couple nuances. But otherwise it fits wonderfully and looks great! Totally recommend and would buy again if i need a second dragon!

Good product for the price. I didn't realize it required assembly, but the assembly wasn't difficult. It's sturdy felt and overall it's pretty good quality.

Such a beautiful decoration. Needs a couple more steps listed on the instructions but watching the video helped answer our questions.
