Unique! One of the best tasting & feeling matchas on Amazon. Least bitter matcha ever
Now I've never bought matcha for over $60 a can, so I can't compare the very highest grades... but this is one of the nicest matchas I've had on Amazon, from the Japanese stores in Torrance & San Diego (such as Nijiya market), or even from Japan directly. It's as unique and interesting as the truly alternative breed matchas I've had, such as the GABA enhanced breeds. If you don't like matcha bitterness, this one is for you. It's so smooth and non-bitter, it' s like a small miracle in a can. It's like drinking a green cloud.Of course, some bitterness comes from compounds that are very good for you (and make you feel good, too), so I wouldn't knock some bitterness, per se. But this matcha definitely has the least bitterness of any I've tried. (the batch I received, anyway)Nonetheless, even with the bitterness so low, mental effects are great. I think the l-theanine is perfectly intact, as you get a nice mellow vibe, along with the mild lift you get from the caffeine and theobromine and theophylline.Since I drink matcha mostly for how it feels more than how it tastes, I've come to mix this half and half with a more stimulatory matcha. I can then pump out a good 6 hours or so of quality (high brain) work. Wonderful stuff!I prefer my matcha cold, so I don't damage the ingredients, but I'm sure this will work warm, as well. I just haven't tried warm yet. Be sure not to use overly hot water with matcha, though. Do it like you'd do it with green tea. 3/4 cup boiling, 1/4 cup cold.So kudos to Naoki for sourcing this. This is one of the more interesting matchas I've run across. I like it far more than their own "superior grade" matcha from Uji, which, for whatever reason, I like less than most matchas from more commercial regions such as Kagoshima. This Wazuka one is a work of art -- a lot of effort went into growing and cultivating a tea like this, whereas their "superior" is run of the mill. I see that Hiro, though, acknowledges problems well, so I'm sure their "superior grade" will eventually be as superior as this one with time!

Tasty matcha, but I wish there was more of it.
I recently started drinking matcha from cafe's and wanted to try making it at home to save money. I found that this one was the best for making iced matcha lattes and I wanted to make sure to get a high quality matcha powder. It arrived unbelievably fast so I got to try it out right away. I've had this matcha for about 2 weeks and i'm already half way through the container, maybe even a little more than half. I've been making one latte most days, so on average 4-5 a week. I try not to use too much powder while i'm making a latte since I want to savor the powder for as long as I can before re-ordering. I just think it should come with a lot more for the price tag. Besides that I really love the flavor, I always add a few teaspoons of sugar to my lattes to add sweetness but I truly do love the organic matcha taste. The packaging comes in a little bag inside of the cylinder so make sure to be careful while transferring the powder form the bag into the actual container- I wasn't and I lost a couple teaspoons of powder :(. Overall I recommend this matcha powder to any beginner like me!

Clean and smooth flavor
I'm a new Matcha drinker and I found I prefer it cold. I was pleased to find this cold-brew version and it was reasonably priced. The Ceremonial grades ARE better. I was hoping there would be no difference because they're considerably more money than the normal grade matcha. But I discovered in this case, there really IS a reason to buy the fancier grades. The flavor is more intense and less gritty. And it actually has a smoother mouth-feel when you mix it up well. I add a TINY bit of pure Stevia to a large batch just to give it a minor hint of sweetness. It's just perfect. The flavor is clean and bright. Really refreshing and it's actually nice to look at. At first it is a little jarring to see a bright, electric-green liquid in a glass water bottle. But it's all natural and really beautiful to think that the entire leaf is carefully harvested and prepared into this wonderful matcha tea.

Not impressed
The color was quite a bit darker than I was expecting. (See image) Also, even though this is a cold brew blend, it didn’t mix very well in spite of my vigorous shaking. Not sure if I should try a different blend or switch brands completely. This didn’t impress me for how expensive it is…

Best Cold Brew Matcha
This cold brew jade blend is a beautiful cold brew matcha by Naoki Matcha. This matcha has a very deep vibrant emerald green color, with earthy undertones, very little bitterness and a naturally sweet flavor. You can drink it anyway you like, but it's strongly suggested to enjoy this matcha as a cold brew. You can make a cold brew, by putting one teaspoon of matcha into a pint glass/shaker combination, cocktail shaker, or a Hario Cold Brew Tea Bottle. Pour about 195 degree Fahrenheit water fill only to 1/4 full. Mix the matcha with a bamboo chasen or milk frother and fill the rest up with ice. Shake until the ice has mostly melted and the outside of the shaker is really cold and enjoy.

It's also alright, kind of.
I noticed that no matter how much I whisk it, I will still end up with clumps. The flavor is kind of bland? That's just my tastebuds though. This particular one would be my last pick compared to the other blends.

Interesting blend.
Sorry I didnt add a photo or video but I do have to say that this tea is pretty much all described within its marketing scheme. Its a little different from my regular Matcha I consume each day. It is light and it does have a smooth with a NO bitter finish. Thumbs up Naoki. Great blend on this one as well as your other product I've tried.
