GT and the Halo Express complete set of 7 Albums

True, it's on CDs, but we still have a CD drive and windows media player.If you're as old as I am, you would remember when CD's were cutting edge stuff, and most people still had "cassettes" with 1/8" magnetic tape inside.Back in the day, my wife played these tapes for our kids, which have kid adventure stories that result in kids singing scripture verses set to music. They liked them, they learned some good character-building wisdom from the Bible, and now they're having grandchildren. So while the price seems high--who buys a set of 7 CD albums these days--the payoff is incredible. I think the basic plan is to "release" the albums one by one over a series of birthdays and Christmases--whatever!So for the wife and daughter who were once said to "binge out on discipline" by spending a long car trip learning verses, and the two year old who can sing the whole first verse of "infant holy" from memory, even though she can't pronounce "f", etc., this is an incredible treat that we were very happy to find. When she started, it came out "inky oly," so cute! Once she said her t-shirt was "oxen lowing." I don't think so!

Love these. Wish I could buy the old cassettes again! Anyone know where or how to purchase them?I have grandkids who need these!

My children LOVED G.T. and the Halo Express and I still have all the cassette tapes over 30 years later . When the grandchildren came along, I bought the CD pack for the car. These stories and songs go hand in hand in presenting God's Word as relevant and true in everyday life. With the first note of the theme song, all voices within earshot have chimed in with the catchy tunes... including Papaw! The stories are relatable to problems children/people face. The music is absolutely timeless . And the lyrics are strictly scripture as presented in God's Word...neither added to nor taken away from so once you've learned the song, you have memorized the verse with its location address. You should hear the competition in who can sing the fastest "Have I not commanded you be strong and courageous..." Often we break out the scarves and dance! These are WONDERFUL CDs and I was thrilled to find them neither dated nor irrelevant in today's culture. (I have commented many times at how impressed I am with the professional level of music presented in these "children's" CDs). What better way to hide God's Word in their hearts and ours, too! You won't be disappointed!

I grew up with the cassette version of most of these, so there is a bit of nostalgia here. I actually bought them for my daughter to listen to them in the car, since she's almost always asking for "kids songs", whenever she's riding in the car with me. Then I found these on CD, and thought it would be great for her to learn God's word with these. I like them because they are still relevant to kids today, and grownups too!It was pretty great for them to notify my that there was a CD missing/on backorder from this booklet, and that it would be shipped as soon as it became available again.

If you want godly endurance and encouragement, this is it! You and your children or grandchildren will easily learn over 100 scripture verses that will speak to you constantly throughout the day, with no struggle to remember the verses or the scripture references! Our children and the other kids at church grew up on these songs, and when I saw that at long last they were being sold again, I was beyond thrilled! My 36 year old son was also ecstatic!! Thank you, GT and the Halo Express for such wonderful help to live our lives as how God desires by following His Word.

These CD’s are amazing!!! We play one for our girls every night while they go to sleep for bed and they love it. Such wonderful stories and learning lessons for kids all while learning the Bible. We love halo express!!!

I grew up listening to GT & the Halo Express. I still have the songs pop into my head when I read those verses in the Bible. My kids are in AWANA now, and I helped my daughter learn John 3:16 with the GT song that I learned as a girl. Now it has become part of our bedtime routine and we sing it every night. The best parts about the scripture songs with GT and the Halo express is that they are applied to real-life situations through the stories, and they don't add any extra words other than repeated phrases. Once you know the song, you know the verse!

The $70 price tag might seem steep at first, but, since you're getting 7 disks, it's actually only $10 per disk!

I had these when they were in cassette form for my kids! Now I have purchased CD to have for my grandchildren. I love the character in the story/music Christy Michael GT and of course the Halo express. An easy way to memorize scripture!
