The light is bright, affixes easily by either attachment option, and is very well-made. This product is a top-shelf item. 100% satisfied.

The light is bright and works well for my safe. The only 2 problems are1) the motion detection only works in the dark and it's not as good as I would like.2) the light has a short and when turned horizontal in 1 direction it shorts and turns off. It does turn back on when I rotate it further.It is a good product minus the 2 issues described

The light itself is great but the glue the used sucks. I’m constantly reattaching it. I cleaned the surface good with alcohol, and let it dry but the glue is weak. Goes on easy and a few days later starts coming off all over. Too bad, because the lights are great.

Well the safe I bought over four years ago has needed an internal light. Like a smuck, I been putting it off. Now in the year after the bad times of 2020, I finally settled down and found the light I needed. It is simple and while mounting options are down to two, the issue I faced was due to the safe's design.You see, I cannot mount with screws internally since there is nothing but metal beneath the felt and any screw grommets or holes have long ago been used to set up the safe. The next option I had was simply using the magnetic strip - which I went with - but the snag was one area would get all the light and the lower corners or side corners would get less. Still it is better than what I had and I can easily make any change DIY style.Now time to see how long I can go without changing batteries.

The first light I received the motion detection did not work. Replacement is working fine. Return was a bit of a hassle.

Was surprised at the higher 'build quality' for such a simple item....solid aluminum housing, slide out battery cover that fits nicely. Case also designed to securely fit to 2 'friction clips' that themselves can be screwed (screws incl.) to a mounting surface....holds unit very nicely.Funny sidenote - after putting in batteries - and trying the 'auto' motion detect setting - was initially disappointed that the red LED lights did not light up upon 'motion'.Then remembered that the LED's ONLY light up when the unit detects motion in DARKNESS...and not in the bright light of my illuminated kitchen! haha. Upon setting unit in a darkened room, it reacted to motion & lit up perfectly.This will light up my pistol safe in my nightstand just as I intended. Worth the price, would buy again.

Wish they were more sensitive to motion as far as being inside the safe and the magnetic strips that come with them aren't that good as far as holding to your basic safes aka lock and key to get safety for kids out of trouble and gun safety 101 so yeah but definitely will buy this product again because the simplicity of the product.
