For years I had a microwave rice cooker which I bought in Lakeland. It worked extremely well, but eventually wore out. I have spent the last 6 years - and a great deal of money - trying to find a substitute - Lakeland no longer sell the original. The Lekue is a wonderful replacement. Simple to use, brilliant to clean. I did have a small problem with timing because I have a 700 watt microwave and the instructions are for 850 and 750. However, after posing the question on Google, I got a chart of umpteen wattages and timings. All I do now is find the length of cooking time under the 850 and follow the line across to 700.
