The screen is very responsive to touch, and the machine as a whole performs well, with apps opening quickly and responsively. When comparing browsing speeds with my wife's iPad 4, the Elecost is faster, and far more stable (both machines using Chrome on the same wireless network). I'm pleased to see that there is little or no bloatware, and battery life seems good so far. I was impressed with the ease in which I was able to add a SD Card to increase onboard memory. I had an old 64 gb card laying around, and with all the apps I need loaded, including MS Word, Excel and Onenote, I have only used 3% of the storage. No issue with the Google Playstore. I have been able to download and use Amazon video and Sky Q/Sky Go without any problems. I also like the lightness of the tablet.My only issue is the sound from the onboard speakers which is quite "thin" and lacking in bass, and gets more muffled when the tablet is in a case given the rear-firing speakers. I've solved this with the purchase of a Bluetooth soundbar, and by using my old, dependable Sony earphones when on the move.All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality budget tablet *by J***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 January 2019* I purchased this in order to browse the internet and watch YouTube videos while I'm gaming on my PS4 - it does the job perfectly. I also use it to message back trolls in online gaming who insist on messaging obscenities if they ever lose to me in Tekken and other fighting games (PS4 Messaging app works wonders).This isn't going to be as good as an Ipad or Samsung equivalent, but then again you're paying 1/4 of the price. It feels reasonably well built, the screen is responsive and all the apps I've tried run fairly quickly. Screen resolution is good, plenty clear enough for watching films or playing games.The only slight criticism I have is that the sound is a little harsh sometimes, it goes plenty loud enough, it just doesn't sound very "warm" when up at high volumes. This may be remedied by some kind of graphic equalizer app, but it's really not a deal breaker.Overall, I'd give it an 8/10 - loses one mark for sound and another for build quality as it feels quite light-weight. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent tablet and great value! *by M***O on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 December 2018* I’ve had this tablet for about a week and I am very pleased with it so far. I have an older model and mainly use it for games but I do access emails, social media and to browse the internet.Once all the software updated I found the new Quadtab 10.1 very easy to use. It downloaded all my apps and games easily and is running perfectly. The screen is responsive and not laggy The screen colours and images are bright and sharp. I am impressed by the battery life which lasted a good 10 hours of quite intense usage before it required recharging. I also downloaded Netflix without any major problems and it is working great; clarity and sound both good.Although I have only had the tablet a short time it does everything I want in a tablet very well and it is excellent value for money.
