It does leave a moderate amount of product inside the shell of the pineapple. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It Works a lot easier than I thought it would *by T***E on May 9, 2018* I used a ripe pineapple (mainly brown with a little green). Cuts with ease. Just turn handle and gently screw in. You can put a piece of masking tape on the top of the shaft to measure depth if you want to. I just screwed all the way to the bottom by eyeing it up.
