They can be connected in various ways for kids to build things. Well, I went to the interwebs assuming to find some Australian toy company. Nope, the blocks were these markers. The markers connect together via their caps or one of a dozen connector clips provided. The connector clips swivel 360 degrees. Can't believe I'd never seen these before.
