To those discussing the amount of magnesium citrate itself in this supplement--true, it is not specified, but since magnesium citrate is 11.23% magnesium w/w (Wikipedia), one can expect this supplement contains 1,870 mg total magnesium citrate (210/11.23%). Beware that many references refer to doses of magnesium citrate in terms of the mg of magnesium in the magnesium citrate, just as it's specified on this label. Taking 210 mg of total magnesium citrate would not provide a therapeutic dose of magnesium (it would provide less than 24 mg magnesium). This supplement also contains an undisclosed amount of magnesium stearate, which is listed under "other ingredients". **Q: How big are the tablets? Are they hard to swallow? thanks.** A: Yes they are difficult to swallow. I've been taking these for 8 years and Solgar upped the dosage milligrams to 420 in early 2020. The tablets are much larger and very difficult to swallow. Interestingly, many stores have stopped carrying them recently due to customer complaints and returns. Hopefully, Solgar will go back and begin manufacturing the 400 mg dosage again as that size was much easier to swallow.
