I got it for him when he was 2 1/2 as a new big brother present. At first it was frustrating for him, but he easily got the hang of the game. The game spins at a good speed for children. I would recommend that a 3 year old would be included in the age range of enjoying it. The fish and the poles haven’t broken, and my child plays with this game often. We have had the fishes mouths pop off but they easily pop back on. They have only popped off if he sat on them or threw them.
