Like magic. **Q: Can you unroll them?** A: No they do not unroll. **Q: Is it best to use these with water alone, or will they work better when used with a scouring powder, such as Bon Ami?** A: I've done both. For baked on grease, using powder loosens the grime. **Q: Can you unroll and cut them to make a flat piece of mesh for other purposes?** A: You can’t unroll but you can cut with scissors but I’m warning you that once you cut, it leaves little pieces everywhere so so it over a bag or trash.
