My wife has boots that zip down on the inside and she uses the Tuli's Heavy Duty GEL heel cups when wearing boots and finds that THOSE heel cups are just as pain relieving as these SILICONE ones but tougher on the edges so she can put her foot in the boot ( using the shoe horn ) much easier. As such, the cups won't cure this but I would recommend them as they are comfortable and decent quality.
