Coarse crystals ideal for salt grinders. Bring out the flavor of your food with pure white rock salt crystals of superior quality. Review: Salt of the Earth - Fresh salt on foods adds to the flavor and taste. We received battery powered salt and pepper mills as Christmas gifts. I could not find bulk, consumable rock salt in our local grocery stores--the national chains-P and K. Also the local FM only carried small, pre filled mills for sale. The size and price of the Tidman's was just what we needed. You can't let large quantities of salt sitting around for years--it loses it's flavor and would be thrown out. My only criticism is with the mills themselves--they work so well that we use a bit more salt or pepper than we probably should! Review: Perfect - Perfect ## Features - Best quality & premium taste - Fine gourmet foods for someone special - Ideal corporate & holiday gift - Ground/standard shipping - High standards of quality control ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01CUD8N6M | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #65,319 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ( See Top 100 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ) #73 in Rock Salts | | Brand | Tidmans | | Brand Name | Tidmans | | Color | White | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 464 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00721865095221, 05011428000096, 05054809280878, 05055466135389 | | Item Form | Crystals,Powder | | Item Package Weight | 0.53 kg | | Item Weight | 1 pounds | | Manufacturer | Tidmans | | Model Number | 070917VE | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Package Weight | 0.53 kg | | Part Number | 070917VE | | Size | 17.5 Ounce (Pack of 1) | | Specialty | Natural | | UPC | 721865095221 778894121261 | | Unit Count | 17.5 Ounce | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Tidmans - **Item Weight:** 500 Grams - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Package Weight:** 0.52 Kilograms - **Unit Count:** 1.00 Count ## Images ![Tidmans Rock Salt, 17.63 oz - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/715C8NowdyL.jpg) ![Tidmans Rock Salt, 17.63 oz - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71hO0x406GL.jpg) ![Tidmans Rock Salt, 17.63 oz - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61R9fM4jZNL.jpg) ![Tidmans Rock Salt, 17.63 oz - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ieodaABiL.jpg) ![Tidmans Rock Salt, 17.63 oz - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91wiaQxkOEL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Salt of the Earth *by L***L on February 10, 2014* Fresh salt on foods adds to the flavor and taste. Table / food item should have been in sealed container to avoid contamation. ## Frequently Bought Together - TIDMANS NATURAL ROCK SALT 500G - 100g TRS Whole Black Pepper (Black Peppercorns) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/796550552-tidmans-rock-salt-17-63-oz](https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/796550552-tidmans-rock-salt-17-63-oz) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kenya* *Store origin: KE* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
