It makes virtually no noise and outputs a great deal of air. I am using the AP150 in a 75 gallon with 2 bubble strips and I have to limit the output with valves because it outputs so much air. You don't have to worry about trying to set this on a towel or similar to keep vibrations and noise down, because it's apparently already taking care of the noise and vibrations internally. I can't recommend this air pump enough, especially if you have been struggling with a noisy pump that just doesn't output the air you need. This is great value for the money. I want to run two of them off of one pump, think this will handle it?** A: Yes! This air pump will definitely handle 2. I use it w/ a 4 way valve (gang valve aka manifold) 2 are for air stones (aka bubblers) & the other 2 run sponge filters & hv plenty of air power. In fact, I purchase 5 of them when they were literally on sale on here for less than $25. (During the winter of 2021) Now they’re dble that price! Yikes! **Q: Enough for 3 12" wands, a two inch led stone and a small stone???** A: Yes, this air pump is designed to provide a lot of pressure so it will push air deep into a tank, and through longer stones and bubble wands. We would recommend using a gang valve with it of course, but it should be able to provide air to all of those. **Q: One of the 3 I bought does not work properly. How can I have it serviced or possibly replaced?** A: If you are still within the warranty period, I would call Amazon customer service and request a replacement. **Q: I would appreciate the suggestion for a 36gl tank, can I use the 300 for 2 wands, treasure man and a coral ornament or should I get the 150?Thank you.** A: I can tell you what I have. I have a 150 gallon tank. Had the 300 to control two wands. It lasted two months. Thought I might have a defective unit so I purchased another. It lasted about two months as well. I swapped the 300 for two 150 and they have been running for the past 6 months with no issues.
