Keeps my laptop cool which is the most important thing. Review: Too small for 15.6" notebooks - It is too small for 15.6" notebooks. The product misleadingly says that it is suitable for upto 17" notebooks. Even 14" notebooks might be slightly bigger than the cooling pad. It is only suitable for upto 13" notebooks. However, despite the small size of cooling pad, it does have a large 200mm fan, which provides average cooling. In addition, the fan is remarkably quiet and the USB male/in has one inbuilt USB female, so that the cooling pad does not eat up your USB slot. If you intend to play games, it is not for you. My previous cooling pad Cooler Master Notepal X3 was much better than this one. ## Features - 17" Max - Led Fan - Blue Light Base - Model Number - CL-N004-PL20BL-A - 1 Year Replacement Warranty ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00IGSATZY | | Best Sellers Rank | #201,122 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) #380 in Portable Computer Cooling Pads | | Brand | Thermaltake | | Brand Name | Thermaltake | | Colour | Black | | Cooling Method | Air | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 1,120 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Steel | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04717964393418 | | Item Weight | 1.95 Pounds | | Item Weight Unit of Measure | 1.95 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Thermaltake | | Manufacturer Part Number | CL-N004-PL20BL-A | | Material | Steel | | Model Number | CL-N004-PL20BL-A | | Number of Fans | 1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | UPC | 841163053225 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | Comes with Manufacturer Warranty. | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Thermaltake - **Colour:** Black - **Cooling Method:** Air - **Item Weight:** 1.95 Pounds - **Material:** Steel ## Images ![Thermaltake Massive V20 Steel Mesh Panel Single 200mm Blue LED Fan Adjustable Speed Control 10"-17" Laptop Notebook Cooling Pad CL-N004-PL20BL-A - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/919B55ca9bL.jpg) ![Thermaltake Massive V20 Steel Mesh Panel Single 200mm Blue LED Fan Adjustable Speed Control 10"-17" Laptop Notebook Cooling Pad CL-N004-PL20BL-A - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91uSrd3PBKL.jpg) ![Thermaltake Massive V20 Steel Mesh Panel Single 200mm Blue LED Fan Adjustable Speed Control 10"-17" Laptop Notebook Cooling Pad CL-N004-PL20BL-A - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61g+xe5SMsL.jpg) ![Thermaltake Massive V20 Steel Mesh Panel Single 200mm Blue LED Fan Adjustable Speed Control 10"-17" Laptop Notebook Cooling Pad CL-N004-PL20BL-A - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Jh7z6rs2L.jpg) ![Thermaltake Massive V20 Steel Mesh Panel Single 200mm Blue LED Fan Adjustable Speed Control 10"-17" Laptop Notebook Cooling Pad CL-N004-PL20BL-A - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81v8PKfoi1L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does the laptop cooler suck air out of the laptop or blow air into it?** A: It does NOT suck air OUT of laptop!!! It pushes the air UP to the bottom of the laptop. The air you feel is REFLECTED air from the bottom surface of the laptop! Quick test... Take the laptop away and put your FACE close to the fan. What do you feel? **Q: is it very loud?** A: Not to me it isn't. I can barely hear it. My laptop fan is louder, and the Logitech I had previouslly whirrs extremely loud at a high pitch and has a teeny fan. I like this one because the fan blades are clear plastic and since they are larger, the pitch is lower frequency. **Q: Is it works for 15 inch laptop? Although it says that it supports from 10-17 inch, we know that's impossible. The dimension seems only support up to 14** A: I don't know what these people are talking about, actually. I just got one and it's exactly the same size width wise as my Acer Aspire 5830TG... which is a 15 inch laptop. A 17 inch laptop would hang off the sides of this thing. I'm already considering asking for my money back, but will at least test it to see if it works. **Q: have anyone try to open it to clean its inside? Is it easy to open it?** A: A few screws to open. But it's junk. Cheap, thin plastic case. Mine broke right away. Then the USB connector not only broke internally, but the female side has a very sharp and bloodthirsty edge. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Keeps laptop cool, useless blue light for large laptops *by P***I on 22 June 2016* Works as promised, do not see the use of the light below when there is a 17 inch laptop placed on it though. Keeps my laptop cool which is the most important thing. ### ⭐⭐ Too small for 15.6" notebooks *by E***T on 29 September 2018* It is too small for 15.6" notebooks. ### ⭐⭐ Not suitable for 15 inch laptops...... *by A***N on 10 July 2016* Maybe good for 13 inch laptops, but not for my 15 inch one. It might be okayish for average users on 15 inch ones, I'm gamer not that heavy though(enough to heat up my laptop). But then it wouldn't serve it's purpose if it is for average users. If you have a 15 inch lap or bigger don't go for it..... ## Frequently Bought Together - Thermaltake Massive V20 Steel Mesh Panel Single 200mm Blue LED Fan Adjustable Speed Control 10"-17" Laptop Notebook Cooling Pad CL-N004-PL20BL-A - Executive Communication Systems Infinity 3 USB Foot Pedal Control with Computer Plug In, one unit --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/77198866-thermaltake-massive-v20-steel-mesh-panel-single-200mm-blue-led](https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/77198866-thermaltake-massive-v20-steel-mesh-panel-single-200mm-blue-led) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kenya* *Store origin: KE* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
