A little goes a long way and effective. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Controls Ant Population, Does Not Eliminate Ants Completely *by A***R on 4 March 2026* Does control the ant population, but does not eliminate them completely. Ants 1st swarm the liquid bait, by 2nd day, fewer ants return, but the bait dries out. From liquid to sticky like honey to hardened bait over 3-5 days. Seem to hit equilibrium where a small number of ants return daily. Ants will eat the hard bait completely and avoid the sticky bait which traps ants. Tried a pool of bait in bottle caps but ants avoid the caps once many ants got trapped by the sticky bait. Drops of bait on cardboard works better because all bait eventually eaten, but does not reduce number of daily ants. If queens and worker ants are killed, there must be enough existing eggs to generate a new queen and more worker ants.
