Poor design choices
The stated design goal of this ICU is to accommodate mirrorless cameras with long telephotos attached. The videos show effortless removal of the camera via the top opening. The real life behavior is NOTHING like this. The mirrorless body and lens attached will fit only if you remove the collar and the hood, and the body is a smallest possible mirrorless. The attached pictures show a Z8 with a 180-600 with all the trimmings. As you can see thjngs "fit" but the top access for which you paid extra money is completely blocked and not usable. I love the Shimoda ICUs but they dropped the ball big time on the XL20 and XL30 RST. If you want to do what the videos show you need the X40 or Xl50 RST.
