It was recommended to me by my doctor.The Gourmet Vanilla flavor reminds me of vanilla ice cream. It is a little sweeter than I'd personally prefer, but it doesn't have that overly artificial, fake vanilla taste that a lot of protein powders do. Honestly, it's hard to find a protein powder that isn't on the sweet side, and this one gets the balance right.I usually blend it in my stainless steel Blender Bottle (which I've also reviewed) with unsweetened almond milk, a little water, and ice, or even just water when I want to keep things simple.
