Utilizing the latest in oxygen technology to remove and kill string algae quickly and efficiently on rocks, stone stream beds, pond liner, and waterfalls. CrystalClear AlgaeOff is a fast-acting EPA registered granular algae remover that works in seconds at any water temperature! In addition to string algae control, CrystalClear AlgaeOff adds oxygen to your pond and removes odors. No copper ingredients, so great for use in an outdoor pond ecosystem containing koi and goldfish. Highly versatile. Can be used in decorative water features, bird baths, patio ponds, fountains, small koi ponds, aquaponics, farm ponds, swimming ponds, lakes and lagoons. For large ponds and lakes, treat floating or submerged algae mats evenly from the shoreline. See dosing rates on label. A favorite among pond owners with fish. Application of CrystalClear AlgaeOff is easy. Identify where the string algae infestation is within the pond. Then apply the prescribed amount, in dry powder / granules, directly to the string algae (hair algae) or algae mat bloom. A slight fizzing will occur as the product starts killing the algae. Seconds later you should see algae completely gone from the area treated. Heavy algae accumulation may take multiple chemical applications for removal. Skim the dead algae out of the water. This product can only harm wildlife if the granular is left undiluted. As long as this product is diluted in the water, birds and pets can drink out of the water feature without harm. When used as directed, will not harm dogs, ducks, farm livestock, frogs, snails, turtles, crayfish, tadpoles, or other freshwater aquatic wildlife. Will not harm ornamental plants or lily pads.
