Colour: black. Platform: PC Features: Wireless Battery type: Rechargeable battery Power Supply: Battery Includes: Headphone output Type: Analogue/Digital Review: Incredible Value and Flawless Performance on PC and Linux - I was initially torn between the PDP Gaming Riffmaster and the CRKD version. I eventually opted for the Riffmaster, primarily because the Xbox version was nearly 50% off, making it an incredible value for the money. Setup and Compatibility I primarily purchased this controller to play Clone Hero on PC, but I have also tested it with Rock Band 3 Deluxe and Yarg. Getting the controller to sync with Clone Hero requires a little bit of setup, but the effort is well worth it. To get it running perfectly: Remove existing drivers: Uninstall "Xbox Game Input" via the Windows Control Panel. Install mapping tools: Download and install RB4 Instrument Mapper and ViGEmBus (both are easily found on GitHub). Once these are installed, the game runs flawlessly. Even the whammy bar functions correctly—something many users had concerns about regarding the Xbox version on PC. Additionally, I can confirm that it is fully usable on Linux systems. Build and Feel The overall responsiveness and build of the controller are fantastic. While it is undeniably a plastic instrument, it feels highly durable and well-constructed. The Strum Bar: I was initially unsure about the lack of a tactile switch in the strum bar, but the action is remarkably similar to the classic Rock Band controllers. It takes almost no time at all to get used to. Ergonomics: The guitar rests comfortably and the buttons are highly responsive during fast sections. Final Verdict I highly recommend the Riffmaster. If you are on the fence about whether to pick one up, you will not be disappointed. It delivers an authentic rhythm gaming experience whether you are on PC or Linux! Review: Je recommende! - Fonctionne bien avec le jeu PC YARC. Vien avec une strap pour la tenir autour du cou. Bref Je recommande pour ceux qui veulent une expérience guitare HERO sur PC ## Features - PDP Gaming Controller Black PC ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CWN15TRF | | Brand | PDP | | Button Quantity | 4 | | Colour | black and grey | | Compatible Devices | Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Windows 10/11 PC, and (coming soon) Rock Band 4 and Fortnite Festival compatible devices Compatible Devices Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Windows 10/11 PC, and (coming soon) Rock Band 4 and Fortnite Festival compatible devices See more | | Compatible Video Game Console Models | Microsoft Xbox SERIES S | | Connectivity Technology | Bluetooth | | Controller Type | wireless controller | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 1,582 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00708056072605 | | Hardware Platform | Xbox Series X | | Item Dimensions | 8.2 x 54.3 x 26.7 Centimeters | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Item Weight | 3.45 Pounds | | Manufacturer | PDP | | Manufacturer Part Number | 049-034-BK | | Model Name | RIFFMASTER | | Model Number | 049-034-BK | | Power Source Type | Battery Powered | | Product Features | Officially licensed by Xbox | | UPC | 708056072605 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** PDP - **Connectivity Technology:** Bluetooth - **Controller Type:** wireless controller - **Model Name:** RIFFMASTER ## Images ![PDP Gaming Controller Black PC - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41mdKhN7rfL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible Value and Flawless Performance on PC and Linux *by M***N on 1 May 2026* I was initially torn between the PDP Gaming Riffmaster and the CRKD version. The exchange was processed immediately, and the new guitar arrived after only 1-2 days. I've been playing Fortnite Festival on it for three weeks now and have absolutely no regrets. The product is incredibly awesome, and the support was quick and easy. 10/10 ## Frequently Bought Together - PDP RIFFMASTER Wireless Guitar Controller for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows 10/11 PC, Rock Band 4, Fortnite Festival, Audio Jack, Rechargeable Battery, Officially Licensed by Microsoft – Black - Rock Band 4 Game ONLY - Xbox One - Rock Band 4 USB Microphone --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/741048081-pdp-gaming-controller-black-pc](https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/741048081-pdp-gaming-controller-black-pc) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kenya* *Store origin: KE* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
