I had built an FPV racing drone several years ago, using parts ordered from various hobby dealers, at a cost of over $1000. But it was heavy, and constantly needed my input to remain steady. The DJI Mini 4 Pro is a completely different device. It’s lightweight, and no FAA license is required in order to fly it legally. It has an awesome camera with a 3-axis gimbal. Even on a breezy day, the image remains rock-steady. You can launch it, put it up a couple hundred feet, fly it a half mile away, and forget about it. When the power gets low enough, the drone will return home and land by itself.
