I am older now, and so the texture of my hair has changed and thinned out, and tangling has been a problem for me. You also use your own conditioner after just 10 minutes of applying this, so you get the scent effect that you want at the end of this instead of the chemical smell. I use it on my eyebrows too, applying with Q-tips.
