The Sony FX3 is one of those cameras that instantly feels “made for video.” The image is clean, cinematic, and flexible In post, with excellent skin tones (especially if you like the more finished look straight out of camera). Low-light performance is a standout. Shots stay usable and detailed in situations where a lot of cameras start to fall apart.What really makes the FX3 shine is how practical it is: compact body, easy to rig, strong autofocus, and the built in cooling fan gives peace of mind for longer shoots. High frame rate 4k o-toons are great for smooth slow motion, and the overall workflow feels professional without being bulky.Cons:it’s an investment, media can get pricey, and if you’re expecting a hybrid photo/video camera, the stills side is clearly not the focus. Also, like many compact full-frame cameras, fast movement can show some rolling shutter depending on settings.Overall, if your priority is video first content (travel, events, doc-style, YouTube, brand work, short films), the FX3 is a powerhouse that’s easy to carry and delivers a premium look.
