I've seen other reviews stating that installing this was a PITA, and they are not wrong. We struggled to remove the faulty Lock Assembly and in our frustration couldn't remember what went where. So when we tried to install this, we had to do a lot of trial and error to connect it back up, and we didn't do it quite right(We're pretty sure we don't have the key lock connected properly), but we did it well enough to lock and unlock as well as to open the door with the inside and outside handles. Took us about 3 hours. If it wasn't for my brother who wanted to figure it out, I would have given up and taken it to a mechanic or body shop or find the appropriate professional that would install this for me. Better to change out both when your doing all this work inside the door. Thanks to You Tube videos I took my time and got it done. Works perfectly now. Also changed out the old thick grease on the window actuator tracks & slides to Synthetic grease. Window works much faster now, up here in the Frozen North!
