Use it for outdoor activities like drone flying, shooting, sailing — or for HVAC work like checking duct airflow, testing heating/cooling efficiency, adjusting vents, and solving collector problems. **Q: Can this anemometer calculate CFM directly?** A: This anemometer measures air velocity (ft/min), not CFM directly — because CFM also depends on your duct's area. Just measure your duct's area and multiply it by the wind speed reading to get CFM. Formula: CFM(Q) = Wind Speed(V)× Duct Area (A). **Q: What are the key specifications of the anemometer?** A: The HP-866B handheld anemometer measures airflow velocity (59–5905 ft/min, ±5% accuracy) and wind temperature (14°F–113°F, ±3.6°F accuracy). **Q: Does this wind meter show the room temperature?** A: This digital anemometer shows the temperature of the wind passing over the sensor — that's the "wind temperature," not the ambient temperature. It may vary from the actual room temperature. **Q: Is this anemometer portable? What are its dimensions and weight?** A: Yes! The anemometer weighs just 5.4 oz and measures 6.5 x 3.4 x 1.5 inches — compact and lightweight enough to toss in your backpack, tool bag, or even a large pocket. Perfect for taking on outdoor adventures or HVAC jobs. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality *by M***H on June 24, 2019* Good quality good service ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works. *by C***C on March 16, 2020* I ordered this for the company I work for, as of right now everything is good.
