It's versatile, it packs a punch with its flavor, it is super easy to use, and it happens to come from a brand I personally trust. The downside is the price. This is a small container of powdered cheese, but with that being said, we ended up using a lot less than we thought because this product is so flavorful. We primarily use this for boxed mac and cheese in place of the chemically or watered down cheese powder that comes in the box, and it could not be an easier swap. It substitutes in the exact same way (powder, milk, and butter) and really changes the game. We even tried adding this to the powder that comes in the boxes and the difference is substantial enough that, if you aren't concerned about preservatives or don't need that all natural taste, goes the extra mile in making chemically blends taste better and adding enough cheesiness to the less flavorful boxed brands. I cannot stress enough how wonderful the flavor is. I was hoping for something that didn't taste super chemically and carried more flavor than we were getting out of the Kraft mac and cheese boxes. This blew my expectations out of the water. This is more than a cheap cheese byproduct- you can taste the actual cheese. When I opened the container, I was surprised because I could smell the subtle medium white cheddar tang, and now that I have actually tasted the end product, I am never going back.
