Great concept, but i don't know for how long.
I will admit, subjectively, I love these sandbags. I've owned one other sandbag, and that required you to sew the top closed (I don't sew, so epoxy it was). But this has done it right, and used a zipper. You'll see reviews on any sandbag that complains that it didn't come with sand, but that's very common. You loading your own sand helps cut down the shipping costs massively. loading the sand can be a little annoying, but just do b it outside and have a reasonable scale with you. What i love about this bag is the fact that it's adjustable as a sandbag, but versatile as exercise equipment. If you want to load up the full 90 lbs (I wouldn't. More on that later.), you can throw it across your back and go for a challenging hike, or you can use the individual bags as kettle or dumbbells.Where this doesn't get the full 5 star treatment is I'm not convinced this will be able to carry the full 90 lbs for very long. I would load up the full weight to do some short walks, squats, and whatever else I thought I could accomplish without falling. But whenever I picked it up by the straps, I could hear the seams struggling a little bit, and this was only a couple of weeks use.So I decided to drop the individual bags down to 25 lbs, and that seemed to help out, at the very least, a little bit. I'm still a little weary about 75 lbs, but so far, it seems like it was the better move. But not getting the full 90 lbs treatment is what unfortunately, gets a great product knocked down to 4 stars.

Great for workouts
My teen and I both love this sandbag set. It’s durable and easy to fill, plus the straps are heavy duty and haven’t broken after several weeks of use. They are easy to grip, making workouts easier. These are nice.

Great for HIIT
I hadn't considered anything like this until just recently and I'm glad I gave it a try. After filling up the bag I used it for a hiit workout doing squats, shoulder press, cleans, lunges, and bench dips. Really like the bag since I could use it for multiple exercises and it is way more comfortable than using a plate.I've found some small grains of sand that work their way out somehow, but it isn't a big deal for my garage gym. It wears me out quickly, but adds a bit of variety into the routine.

Solid piece of exercise equipment
This is a nice sandbag set for those of us who are not extremely strong. Some people will want a larger, heavier bag, but for the rest of us it works great. The outer and inner bags are all sturdy fabric, with good zippers and Velcro closures. It is a little tricky to squeeze individual bags into the large outer, but once inside they fit just fine. There are also many different straps on the outside which allow multiple variations for lifting and carrying. The “kettlebell” is a nice addition to the set, allowing for other workout options beyond basic sandbag movements. Its handle is comfortable and ergonomic, and the bag seems to at least somewhat resemble a standard kettlebell (without the rigidity of course).I don’t know about the long-term durability of stitching on the bags, though so far I have not had any problems with ripping. That seems to be the main issue that others have experienced. Time will tell whether they hold up okay, and I may need to update my rating later. At this point I’m quite happy with the design and function of the whole set. As a bonus, when I’m not using them I store them in the (covered) bed of our truck for additional winter traction.

Not durable for actual training
The sandbag isn’t durable If you plan to use it for sandbag training. After 20 reps of over the shoulder tosses the filler bag burst and the seam of the actual bag burst too sending sand everywhere. You get what you pay for I guess.

be gentle
So the good here. It does work. personally I was only able to get around 28.5 lbs of sand into each of the three bags, and 45 lbs into the kettlebell. This is probably for the best as they do note seem particularly well made. lifting the large bag with all ~85 lbs the straps are really straining those stitches, you hear the creaking. They really should be reinforcing the stiches better.I do think they will do the job for a while if you just need a cheap sandbag and a cheap kettlebell, but do not expect them to last very long. I would rate it lower, but really the include of the kettlebell and if you only put in 2 of the bags for ~ 57 lbs and fill the kettlebell to not be stuffed for less strain around 30 lbs. then it should probably be fine. That is more than enough for a beginner to decide if sand bag workouts are for them or not.

My first time using sandbags for workout weights
Sand bag work outs are new for me. There are some exercises I avoid when a barbell is involved, like squats or lunges. I don't like having the bar across my neck and shoulders, even if the bar is padded. These bags feel like they're made for practical exercises that can simulate real life experiences. I'm more likely to carry a heavy bag of mulch or compost on my shoulders for instance than a long stick with weights at each end. These bags do not come filled with any kind of weight. I looked around at some online videos and found recommendations to use pea gravel pebbles instead of sand, to keep dust to a minimum. Two bags from my local hardware and garden store weights about 96 pounds and costs less than $15. Fill each of the inner bags up to 30 lbs of weight. Using a home scale works fine, but don't overfill. Leave some room so the bag material has some give on the inside and the pea gravel shifts and conforms, and not ready to bust at the seams.
