Nice and easy being an unmanaged switch. I used this switch to handle my low priority low bandwidth equipment in my network closet. It takes a single 10gbps feed from my 10gbps network and lets me connect 8 devices at up to 1gbps. This works for all my low end devices like printers and home automation hubs. Freeing up space on the 10gbps network ports for devices that can take advantage of the higher speeds. Wish it came with mounting brackets though.

Works great, except it seems to get a little overwhelmed with too much data from too many sources and power outages get it a bit confused. Otherwise great for not having to go in and do network admin where I try and limit my admin work at home. I have two similar and work fine together

We desperately needed a solution for an issue we were having with some in-the-wall cable lines and were told we needed a device that could handle the gigabites to carry the signal throughout the house properly. We found a great one! Netgear 8-port 1G holds all we need and then some. Great connectivity now and cable is fast & stable. We even had it mounted (see photo) in a media box in the wall.

Wired is so much more secure versus Wi-Fi. Great switch.
