Great ski helmet for a 6 year old
We purchased this for our 6 year old to wear on ski team and it works great. Love the color, soft inside, fits snug and safe. Good value for the price, great color.

Bought for my boyfriend’s snowboard trip and he loved it!The ears are removable which is nice depending on how warm you’d like to be and held up well! No scratching or chipping of the colour either.

Satisfactory product
The adult version of this helmet is advertised as having removable earmuffs - they are not removable. Their support has no idea what this products features are and flip flopped between saying this feature is available/isn't available/is only for newer models/was only for older models. They are also don't care or are unwilling to help.If your intention is to use this helmet with earmuffs and to never remove them, it's a fine product. Otherwise, don't bother because you won't be getting the features advertised.Edit: Retrospec support finally got their act together and figured out that the earmuffs are, in fact, removable. At least in this iteration of the product, you have to pull very hard (to the point where it feels like you could be damaging the earmuffs/helmet) to pull the earmuffs out.Their support could still be better, but the product delivered on the features specified.

Satisfied purchase- snowboarder/longboarder
I purchased this helmet because I am going to learn how to longboard and I also snowboard during the winter. I wanted a decent helmet that I could use for both sports. It fits great ( I was worried it would be too big but it’s perfect especially with it being adjustable. I got a size Large)!I have only tried it on so far to see if it fit properly. I am still waiting for my longboard to arrive to fully test it out and as it being the beginning of September, I can’t test it with my snowboard yet.I love how easily the ear covers come on and off and how the inner lining can also be removed effortlessly to be worn with or without it or to wash it. Personally I like the feel of the helmet more with the padding/inner lining , so I will probably still keep it in for longboarding and snowboarding and only remove it to wash it if it gets sweaty.Even though I debated even getting a helmet because they look silly sometimes, I decided it was worth the purchase because I’m a clutz but I still want to have fun. And from past experiences, it hard to fully enjoy something if you have to worry about a possible head injury if you make a small mistake.I know this helmet isn’t a top of the line snowboarding helmet but with what I can afford right now and still wanting to enjoy the sport as much as possible while keeping my head intact, I feel like this is a great purchase for me.I will update if needed after I have actually used the helmet in either sport, hopefully I won’t fall on my head though, but if I do, I will let y’all know if the helmet protected me, or I won’t because I’ll be dead. I have high hopes though.

Almost perfect
This helmet is almost perfect.Light weight, well built, looks good, good fit with googles…. But! The head fit is a little to short front to back. It’s feels a little to much pressure on the forehead. But not annoying enough to not using it.
