I like the toughness of the material and the general design, including the strap length and routing. This is the kind of quality I've only seen previously done well by companies like Filson's. It fits and stays out if the way while protecting me from oil and grease. The number and variety of pockets really work well for wrenches as well as small tools that might normally get laid down and lost (recently used socket, I'm looking at you). My one concern might be the durability of the straps, but that hasn't been a problem yet and honestly who knows if it will. I had a Mechanix Wear one that I wore out. It was also a little too short. The NY Sky apron I received is a heavy-duty canvas. The stitching is good and the seam ends are well finished. I don't use all the pockets, but there are a lot and they are well placed. The description says "split-leg". I don't know what that means because the apron has a solid front that extends down to just past my knees (I'm 6 feet tall)- perfect length for me. I would prefer a leg split, but it is functioning fine so far. My one disappointment is the straps, and it is my fault. My apron came with straps that crossed in the back and wrapped around to the front. Not a good set-up for the shop. But the apron packaging described several different strap options that can be had! Good job NY Sky!
