These are indeed lightweight but these are not in US measurements and nowhere do I see this in the description. As a matter of fact they point out cups in the description but the measuring cups themselves show only ml, oz, & pints. I'm giving this 4 stars because they are lightweight. They haven't broke or cracked but I don't put them in the microwave. I am disappointed that I just realized that the 1 pint didn't equal 16 oz and hope no one used these for actually measuring anything.
