Reliable printer for home or small business, but handle with care
I was looking for a good home printer for quite sometime before I came across the M200. I liked the idea of wireless printing from my laptop and mobile devices through my wireless router. Somehow, everyone I spoke to said wifi / bluetooth features in printers don't always work reliably. I looked up printshare options, but somehow I have had serious reliability issues with router-to-usb connections.I am just very big on relability. I like things to just work without question. And so I go through a lot of pain to ensure that I get reliability in return for my money.I got some solid advise about wireless printing. The only way you can get reliable wireless printing is if you hook up your router to your printer via a ethernet port. This advise turned out to be gold.I would advise you to list down your printing requirements before you embark upon a scouting mission to find the perfect printer. I did. And this is what my list looked like:1. Low cost per print2. Black & White only3. Dual scanning option (flatbed + feeder)4. Ethernet port5. Simple interface6. Must print reliably from all mobile devices connected to my home router7. Must not be picky about paper quality.By and large, the M200 has turned out to be a 7/7, although i still can't endorse the cost-per-print bit just yet. After 1 week of use, here's how I see its pros and cons:Pros:1. Sets up like a breeze, but be sure to follow the instructions carefully.2. The ink tank function is pretty cool. Somehow it feels good to see the translucent ink tank show me the ink level. Filling the tank is easy, and 1 1/2 ink bottles came free in the box.3. The epson iprint app has a very simple interface, and one can print and scan quite easily without turning on my pc. Works reliably.4. Best part was scanning a multi page document on to my phone and sharing it as a pdf. That was impressive.5. The feeder (scanner) and the printer both take different qualities of paper, and i have not had much problems, except with crumpled or badly folded paper.6. Print quality is fine. Perfectly acceptable.Cons:1. It is delicate. You better handle it with butter fingers. The build quality cannot be compared with a hardcore office or commercial printer. For me this is no biggie coz i'm careful with my stuff.2. It is a dust magnet. I wipe it with a 3M microfiber cloth often to keep it looking good as new.3. The epson iprint app for mobile devices doesnt let you print everything. It's not as simple as printing from a pc. For instance, i can easily print an attachment or a screenshot, but not an email (covering mail) from my gmail app. It makes you save every doc as a pdf on google drive before printing it. Having said that, it still does print quite reliably.Overall, for a printer that comes with mobile printing through ethernet, this printer is a steal.

NOT FOR HEAVY USERS
NOT FOR HEAVY USERS...IN THE SPEC EPSON SAYS that IT COPIES UPTO 34 PPM (DRAFT). But This speed can be reached only if u wanna multiple copies of a single document. copying speed and scanning speed is soooo slow with ADF..and another minus is, it cannot copy on draft mode thro ADF.. it copies only two pages/minute with ADF. U have to spend 50 minutes to take 100 pages of photocopies. But u want to take multiple photocopies of a single document then the speed is ok for medium users. m200 is good for home users. Quality is good.. Printing speed is good but photocopy speed is soooooooo slow.. Finally, its main pro's are ink tank facility, high page yield, quality, even 70 gsm paper can be used for double sided printing or copying but cant in laser printers, easy to install, easy to refill, NO frequent paper jams(it may once for 3000 copies.), Even the ADF is slow it copies without any paper jam in ADF, WARRANTY upto 50,000 copies. the one and only main CON is too much slow process of ADF. and noisy.... I have not received the product till last date what amazon promised surprisingly i received the product at 2 a.m. of that night thro COURIER SERVICE. the product is filled with air packets.. package is so good. Amazon.in is Amazing zone point(.) in india for ecommerce

One of the best printer.
I like this printer for business in rural area.It can print legal. I had all ready use before. How to install?Remove seal plastic outside and inner part.Insert ink to Ink Tank. And plug to power to 240v.Select language, press 3seconds to complete ink setup. It will take 11 minutes after completing. Printer is ready to print, scan.Print quality is great. You can adjust ink in destiny.Easy to print and copy. Just load paper in tray. And start copy.
