SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Extra-Moisture Transitioning Milk, 8 Ounce

This is an excellent product to soften hair that has been weakened from processing (in my case dying). I have straight hair that looks frizzed from severe dryness, and this product adds weight, texture, and such softness that my hair looks beautiful after applying the product when damp before blow drying. It smells very nice and organic. I only took one point off because the package took about 5 weeks to arrive. When I tracked it, was shocked that it was being delivered from overseas, and then was misrouted and ended up in Belgium. Finally the box arrived looking beat up, but the product was in perfect condition with the shrink wrap on it.

I've tried to wrap my hair in silk or satin at night when I go to bed but I get lazy. I've just gotten used to the idea that when I get up in the morning, I need to do anything possible to revitalize my matted, flattened curls. But that was all before I discovered this product!!!I have 3b tight curly hair that is very fine and very dry. This product isn't kidding about the extra-moisture. It leaves my hair moisturized for days...not even my pillow can take that away at night. Instead of having to use product in the morning, I just fluff up any curls gone awry. The great thing is that promised extra moisture doesn't translate into leaving my hair oily. It really leaves my hair unbelievably soft.As someone with chemical allergies, I also appreciate that this all-natural product doesn't give me hives!

I am currently transitioning to natural from a perm. I have not had a perm since March and this is now August, so I am fairly new to the process, but this product is truly a life saver. I got on Amazon looking for the Etae products from the Instagram posts I have seen and then I stumbled upon the Shea Moisture line and I am so happy I did. I use this after shampooing and conditioning my hair with the Shea Moisture shampoo and conditioner and it works like a charm. It smells great and leaves my hair so soft and manageable.

It works well. I brought it for my natural hair but used it mostly on my micro braids. The hair I brought tangles and hard to manage mess but this product moisturize and take out unruly tangles. If it can do this for the braid hair I know its going to do a great job on my real hair. That's why I gave it 4stars because I have to buy it again to see how it actually work on my real hair. It did wonders for this crazy braid hair.

I have very fine, very dry curly hair that is in a perpetual state of bedhead, forever oscillating between oily strings and straw-like dryness. I haven't even used shampoo for 5 years, only cleansing conditioners, and still, my hair is forever dry. I've tried all kinds of serums, oils and creams, but it's always too heavy or absorbs within a few hours. Until I used this. I apply it sparingly, wet or dry, and it absorbs quickly and defines curls without making them crunchy or greasy. Smells heavenly too! Not too strong or synthetic. In love with this stuff

This was my 2nd order of the SheaMoisture because I enjoyed how hydrated my curls looked and filled. When I 1st opened the bottle, the smell was a little off putting but I thought it was just me. A few days ago I washed my hair, put this on it, and headed to work. My hair was still damp but when my co-worker came over to my desk, she mentioned this unusual smell she couldn't describe. I thought she was joking and I was like really get away from me because I assumed she thought I bottom burped. She was like know it smells a tad bit sour and I immediate freaked out because that's what I thought when I initially smelled this. I ask her to smell my hair and she immediately said "bingo". I was embarrassed and I left to wash this out. I think maybe it was a bad batch because I didnt have any problems with my 1st order of this conditioner.

I tried this product for the fisrt time yesterday and it gave me so much hold on my hair. I recently started the transition process and all Shea Moisture products are helping me so much. I did notice some driness on my scalp afer applying it but still did a good job. It work wonders on chemically treated hair as well. This is one of my favorite line.

This is so good for transitioning or texturized hair as well as 100% natural. Its very nourishing and makes your hair lay softer which is important when you have natural and relaxed texture on one head. They kinda meet in the middle.

I really like this product as it's a great alrounder, I use it as a leave in, moisturiser, styler and it detangles really well too. I think this hair milk works best on kinky curly-kinky type 4 hair texures. What I don't like is the price, why so expensive compared to the other shea moisture products and the curl and style milk (I use this on my older son's hair as he has a looser curl type) the curl and style milk is around £6.79 but the extra moisture transitioning milk is £11.99 if you subscribe otherwise it's £12.99, I find myself checking on amazon first and then shopping elsewhere as it is always too expensive on amazon (usually one of my local beauty supply stores)

Absolute pants, soo expensive and my hair hated it. Very disappointed as this brand gets sooo many rave reviews. This is the second time I've tried this brand and my hair has not liked it, steering clear now. Also, complete marketing gimmick 'transitioning milk' ALL hair needs moisture regardless of whether you're transitioning, natural, relaxed, texlaxed etc... WollevaI wrote the above review when I was transitioning, however, I am now fully natural and I am absolutely in LOVE with this product. It is the only moisturiser I will use. My hair feels so quenched after applying this and it smells great. I used the bottle I first purchased in a desperate need to moisturise my hair when I ran out of my usual moisturiser (I was using KeraCare's oil moisturiser - I love them but prefer all natural products so stopped using that brand) and by then I was about 8 months into being natural and my hair was just like yaaaasssss. So I've never looked back. I've tried SM's JBCO moisturiser, it's good, but my hair just loves this line and this moisturiser. I highly recommend

Io ho i capelli 4b - 4c. Sono mulata. I miei capelli sono rovinati a causa dei vari trattamenti fatti negli anni. Attualmente sono in transizione (meta con relaxer e l'altra no). Si rompono e sembra che non crescano mai. Sono secchi con doppie punte. Devo lavarli ogni 3/4 giorni altrimenti inizio ad avere prurito e un po' di forfora.Il prodotto è buono. Ammorbidisce i capelli e li idrata. Ho notato una certa crescità dei capelli mentre usavo questo prodotto. Mi semnto di consigliarlo abbinato però ada altri prodotti, non per forza della stessa marca.

J’ai acheté ce produit pour hydrater mes cheveux et ça marche bien, la composition est bien meilleure que ce qu’on pourrait trouver en grande surface. Je pense que c’est plus pratique d’avoir une pompe parce que c’est difficile de faire sortir le produit. Sinon l’odeur est très agréable et le produit fait bien son job.

Ce produit est bluffant ! J'ai l'habitude de consommer des produits plus onéreux de la gamme Mizani tels que le moisture stretch true textures. Ce lait hydratant de la gamme Shea Moisture est une merveille. Il sent extrêmement bon et l'effet est extraordinaire sur mes cheveux masculins de type 4 A. Une fois secs mes cheveux ils sont tellement doux, souples et ils sentent tellement bons. Il est vrai qu'il y a un léger effet carton mais cela s'oublie vite car les cheveux sont très beaux. Je suis fan de ce produit ! En plus, le produit a été livré en excellent état et très rapidement.
