Does not come with a power cable. Or atleast mind didn't.
I sent in a complaint about this but I felt the need to explain. If it's supposed to come with a cable, like most electronics, then ignore this. I am living overseas and it took almost a month for this to arrive, with no cable. I am not about to spend another month sending it back, just to receive another possibly without it again. Had to go online and spend another 25$ on a proper cable because its impossible to find one in a store.Other than that, it works great and cools nicely. My HP Omen runs super hot and it really does the job. If you have the power cable attached.

It’s functional and quiet!
I can’t play any 3A games without this cooling pad! It can reduce the temperature by at least 10 degrees.

Saved my overheated laptop
I used my MacBook pro for games and it got overheated easily. The laptop cooling pad saved the situation and I don't have to worry about burning my MacBook. There are different modes for the fans and I like the lights. I can also turn off the light while using the fan as well. Overall, it is a useful item.

Came with power cable, weaker fans.
Based on some third-party reviews this doesn't cool as much as I would have expected it to, especially considering the price tag. There are a few laptop coolers without the AC component that are rated better than this one strictly on a basis of temperature. I suspect that results will vary widely based on which laptop is being used and where the fans are on the bottom of your laptop in relation to this product. These fans did feel a little weak. My personal preference would be hardcore loud fans as opposed to quiet weaker fans. The cooler was noticeably cold after 10 seconds, and after a minute was quite cold. There is a fan on the back in the center that helps disperse the cold air to the corners. However I wish there was a better mechanism built to have the cold air being pumped through the four corner fans. Still, even as a passive cooling element, I like the AC pad in the center. The base is constructed in a way where it can be held on the lap as well as a tabletop, major plus for travel.I was very concerned when I purchased this because how many reviews had mentioned there was no charging cable. My charging cable was included, in a separate box, shrink wrapped with the laptop cooler. The only reason I'm not giving a five stars is because If you're going to pay two or three times more, you should have guaranteed best performance. This does not necessarily offer that per third party review.

No Power Cord, give me a break. Can't handle the heat.
Ok, at least when I buy a product, I expect it to work out of the box (especially for this kind of money). I was so excited to get the laptop cooler and the first thing that I notice was that there was no power cord included. I saw another review where the author said the same thing and I thought that it might be just a fluke. But it wasn't. So, if you have a spare power cord laying around the house, you might give this a shot, if not, don't bother because they don't take enough pride in their product to include something as cheap as a power cord.As a side note, I did go out and spend another $20 for a 45 wat 9 volt 3 amp power cord and gave the cooling pad another shot. I have a Dell xps 15 I9 processor with 64 GB of memory and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics card, and this baby gets HOT. The cooling pad didn't even come close to cooling down my machine. So, if you have a real hot machine, the thermoelectric cooler just can't handle something hot. So, I am sending this one back. Good luck finding something that works for you!

Nice Gimmick
The center piece does indeed turns cold, but it doesn't blow out ice cold air. Theoretically speaking, it uses the same method as a block of ice and fans put together, as the center piece acts as a block of ice and the 4 mini fans blowing it to give it that feeling. I guess does work, but its not the same as ice cold air conditioning blowing out for that instant feeling. Fans are quiet for low usage, but loud for both max settings.
