The only ‘issue’ I had was using it to help hold the leg onto my slow cooker. It lasted a while but did break down after a few months. I feel pretty sure that is the fault of the heat of the slow cooker and no fault of the glue. **Q: Can I use this to attach tips for doing my nails?** A: I use this for a lot of things. Every so often I end up accidentally gluing my finger to something or something to my finger nails. It glues wood, metal and lots of other stuff to my fingernails really well. So, while I haven't purposely glued tips on my nails, I would expect it to work unless the tips are teflon or something like that. If you don't use accelerator you will have a very very short time to position the tips on your nails. With accelerator, you will have almost no time to reposition. You might find that the Thick version might work better. It will stay in place better and give you a little more time for positioning if you need it. Wear eye protection when working with this. Edit: CA glue is not suitable for filling gaps. The tip would have to have good surface contact with your nail for this glue to really bond it. **Q: How do you remove this dried glue from fingers?** A: I get it on my fingers all the time when gluing intricate wooden pieces, the only thing that I've found to help is to use sandpaper once it dries (which is pretty quick) and rub the spot on my finger onto the sandpaper. It breaks it up and makes it come of a lot faster. **Q: What is average cure time without using an accelerator?** A: Depends on how much glue you use and gap. Simply because as we all buy more online than ever before and are asked for a review on everything we buy, we can spend large amounts of time just writing reviews. Nowadays, I tend to write a review only if the product is above and beyond my expectations. I use a lot of CA glue including quite a lot of thin penetrating CA and have used several of the leading brands over the years. When needing more recently, I was attracted by the accessories and spares that came with the glue so placed my order. The glue works perfectly and would penetrate deep into splits in wood which is what I mainly use it for during woodworking. Two things made this product stand out above others I had used. Anyone who uses CA glue regularly will know of the problems of glue build-up in the nozzle causing blockages and generally, just being a pain to keep clearing it. Firstly, this glue was supplied with a spare nozzle for the glue container and no less than 6 ultra fine precision applicators. None of the other glues I had bought in the past provided any spare nozzles / applicators at all. Secondly, the product was supplied with very detailed instructions which included: safety instructions, tips on filling deep voids such as knots, advice on how to prevent nozzles from clogging, Information on best conditions for optimum results. Again, this is something I have never had when purchasing other brands - Maybe just a little Health and Safety information. I believe that Starbond is manufactured in Japan but the instructions received were in perfect, grammatically correct English (I live in the UK). Thank you Starbond for a great product and also for addressing common user issues and for providing very detailed user instructions.
