Original Samsung BN59-01391A with Voice Search, Apps and Solar Charging for Samsung TVs 2021 2022 2023 (White)

This remote is the real deal and not an imitation. The shortcut buttons for Netflix, Samsung tv plus, prime video, and Disney are all there as are buttons for voice control, settings, and home/play/return.Initial charging must be done by USB-C but mine literally only took about 5 minutes to hit full (the red light turned off letting me know it was done charging). After this first charge, the solar panel on the back can be used so the light in your house can even charge it for you.Note: charge is shown in the power/energy settings of your paired monitor (hold return/play for 3 seconds while pointing it at the monitor/tv to pair). This was the second remote sent to me actually as the first wasn't charging properly so definitely check that but amazon sent me a replacement very quickly so kudos to them for that. This second one works like a charm and for the price, it's pretty cool to not have to worry about batteries! Recommended!

This works exactly like the original Samsung remote with no issues. And it was much cheaper than the one found on the Samsung site, plus theirs was out of stock.

I paid a significant amount for this remote and it stopped working after 4 months of use. Considering the price, I expected much better quality. If frustrating to invest in a product that fails to quickly. I am very disappointed and would not recommend purchasing this product.

First remote battery stopped taking a charge after 2 years. Ordered this one and it was bad out of the box, battery weak and would not take a charge. Had to be within 12" of the TV box to operate. Took a chance and ordered another from same seller after easy return. 2nd one works great, better than the original remote when new. Looks and feels identical to Samsung original mremote.

Visually this replacement remote looks the same as the factory remote. The first difference I noticed is the texture of the case was a bit rougher and the buttons clicked less softly than the original. Other than those two things it looks identical down to the stickers on the back panel.Functionally the replacement remote is slightly more deficient than the OEM remote in a few ways. The remote has more trouble with the receiver and I found myself having to create a more direct line of sight with the TV. I also found the buttons were not always responsive even when positioned with a good line of sight. It seems this remote requires a bit more time to wake up, so your first press after a non-use period would often be ignored. Additionally, the button contact with the circuit board would have misreads and one press on the remote may result in multiple actions taking place. Very slight annoyances, and honestly not too far from the issues I was having with the factory remote just before it failed completely. Our original remote's power button eventually stopped functioning entirely.All that said, if you don't want to spend $125 to replace the factory remote with another, this is an option worth exploring. My original remote to my 2023 Frame failed within a year of purchase, so I was not excited to be taken advantage of by Samsung for a poor quality product. This didn't quite fit the bill for me though and I returned it. I now have an overpriced factory replacement and it works perfectly.

I spent hours raking thru Amazon to cull through their growing knockoffs and utter crap, this works.Jeff and I ran in different circles at Palmetto High, approaching things from different angles.Logo, correct. Injection molding with proper cross striations, correct.Our Samsung TV is a 2001 QN55Q70AAFX7A, not listed in the hundreds models long 'working list', just a wager it'd work.This sub-site is a crapfest as well, do you have one single friend in the U.S. that can advise how bad this is? I bloody learned Hangul in a month when I worked for Samsung.On the upside, paired to the TV after its initial charging with the device of your choice that's not included - a press of one button. Alexa after another button press, done in a minute.I got this remote as it's easier to for me to see the white controls, oh let's say, in a darkened room at night to watch the TV. Design logic.The old one from 2001 still works paired, along with Alexa voice, is used by my wife, so we can have volume and channel battles.Great product, but like mining for gold here now. Complicate everything, welcome to the future.

I love how easy the setup was, it just started working outside the box!!!

I was so excited when I received this because it was working, but after only six weeks not only is it not working, but it will not take a charge. It will not charge in the sun and it looks like I’m gonna have to order another remote.
