I tested it with a Shure SM58 microphone, with a sound-familiarized friend of mine listening as I switched between using a cord or the wireless, on two channels setup identically. He couldn't see which method I was using, and noticed no difference and neither did I. I tested a few other more expensive wireless sets, and this was the only one that didn't add some form of coloration to the mic's response. At this point I highly recommend this product.
