Safe and useful, works perfectly
Bought to keep my plants happy and dust free without having to worry about dogs or kids breaking a glass bottle. It looks nice and blends right in with the plants. I spilled while filling it with water but it didn’t hurt the bottle at all. I plan to use the second bottle for the kids to help more with chores around the house - I think if they decorate it they will like using it - and for my mama heart,, I’ll know that they’re cleaning with a safe mixture. Great upgraded product!

Odd. Functional, just aesthetically weird.
I'm honestly pretty ambivalent about these spray bottles. On the one hand, I really want to like them. They do use a lot LESS plastic than a typical spray bottle; they *are* plastic bottles, no question about that, but the plastic liner inside the cardboard is super thin and flexible, and they use the cardboard to create the structure instead. Would a glass bottle have even less plastic? Obviously yes, but then the whole thing would be fragile and heavier. These are safe to use for typical cleaning, gardening and cooking contexts, where a fragile glass bottle might be a hazard. The cardboard might deform if it falls a good distance, or if something falls on it, but it won't shatter like glass. So, that's nice... And they really are lightweight. I like helping support companies that find clever ways to use recycled material, too. The cardboard clamshell is strong, has a semi-waterproof coating on it, and can be written on for easy labeling, so that's all nice, too. The plastic sprayer heads are very good: they have a nice misting setting that is lovely for my seedling-starting trays in the garden. However, the aesthetics of these bottles and the design of the bases where they sit are just... off, somehow. They look cheap and jury-rigged, and don't quite sit flat on the counter, so they're easy to tip over. The paper tape on the neck of the cardboard clamshell just really seals the impression that these were a DIY solution to a broken old plastic bottle that someone had a Pinterest-inspired idea to cover up. Since that isn't actually what they are, it's a bit disappointing to get brand new items that scream, "there, I fixed it with scrap cardboard and some tape." Still, they are functional sprayer bottles, not decorative items. I guess it doesn't matter if they look bizarre. They do the job. I would recommend them if you need lightweight, shatter-proof plastic spray bottles but want to reduce the amount of plastic you buy, and they won't be in a visible area (like kitchen countertop) where their odd appearance would be an issue.

16oz Ready-to-Fill Refillable Spray Hybrid Paper Eco.Bottles For Personal and Home Care
I am skeptical about the longevity of the "hybrid paper" bottles because they do absorb moisture and get marked by it, but after several weeks of use they do not show signs of deterioration. The sprayers are of remarkable quality; superior to the standard spray head, with no dripping or leaking at all, so far. With most spray bottles I find the trigger/spray head to be the part that typically fails, but I will not be surprised if these spray heads outlast these bottles.

Different looking
These are unique in their look as they look like they are cardboard, but they are not. Great for the environment and I love the fact that I can use a marker to identify what is inside.

They're bottles...
I think when I ordered these I must have been slightly dreaming because when they came and I inspected them they're a bit like a husky in sheep's clothing. Now huskies are wonderful and loving energetic dogs, NOT wolves, and sheep are prey; I used this analogy because I'm not sure if these are the eco friendly bottles that they promise and try to pretend to be. The bottles themselves--and this is where I must have been dreaming--are not paper, or cardboard, or anything like that, they're plastic--or BPA free plastic--and then wrapped with this very thin layer of cardboard. To this end I don't really get it: hence the husky in sheep's clothing. Now, I am in no way shape or form an environmental scientist so if you are and you understand that BPA free is NOT plastic and is better for the environment somehow, and IS eco friendly then this bottle is killer I guess! But for me, It's still a plastic bottle! Props for using the recycled cardboard though! I am giving this product 3 stars simply because I do not understand it. To me; it is still a plastic bottle gussied up. But it does work, the cardboard doesn't appear to be damaged by the water when I fill it up, and I did get two of them so those are also plusses!

expensive for spray bottles but it's worth it for the eco-friendly upgrade
I wasn't expecting these bottles to arrive fully assembled, as I thought that part of the benefit was that they would take up less room during shipping but on the other hand it was nice that I didn't have to put them together. They are quite attractive and the spray feature works very well, both the targeted spray and the mistI currently have one filled up down in my laundry area with hydrogen peroxide in it for spot treatment of stains. I really appreciate in this case not the exterior of the bottle is opaque because it will help preserve the efficacy of the hydrogen peroxide. To label the bottle I put a piece of Scotch tape on and then wrote on the tape with permanent marker. I'm hoping to find a nicer looking label in the future that coordinates more with my laundry supplies which is why it didn't write directly on the bottle itself. The second bottle will most likely be filled with a soapy water mixture that I also use for laundry treatments but I haven't completely decided yet so right now it's under my kitchen sink ready for use. I'm not normally in a position to be able to spend $6 on a spray bottle but if I saw these again on sale maybe in the 8 or 9 dollar total price range I would certainly consider purchasing them for a second set.
