I have much more expensive bracelet pliers and another more expensive metal screw press but this is easier to use. The Bergeon pliers are faster but take longer to set up. I do wish this tool was built with tighter tolerances and had a little finer threads on the press. The press pin tip could use less play. I have adjusted dozens and dozens of split pin bracelets and about the same with pin & collar. This tool has only not worked a couple of times. The pin was froze solid and needed a hammer and punch to break free. I then finished with this tool.
