All the wonderful things the other reviewers have said are true. --It dries quickly, so it never gets gross and smelly. --It's perfect for cast iron cookware because you really can clean pretty well without using soap. --It scrubs stainless cookware without scratching (although I often use a dab of soap to remove the oil I cook with). --It's pretty powerful. It scrubs MUCH better than any of my "gentle" scrubby sponges. --It's attractive, comparatively. Even when it gets old and has accumulated bits of burnt crud, it is still way more attractive than an old stained sponge. --It lasts. They do eventually accumulate enough junk that you have to replace it, but I would guess it lasts about 3 times as long as a scrubber sponge. If you designated a single scrubby specifically for broiler pans and the like, then your other scrubby would last prettymuch forever. Most bits of crud will wash out.
