PRESENTATION Glandosane is an artificial saliva available with a natural, lemon or peppermint flavour. Glandosane is presented in a 50ml aerosol dispenser. INDICATIONS FOR USE Glandosane is an artificial saliva for patients with dryness of the oral mucosa and throat e.g. maintenance of oral hygiene in intensive care units, patients receiving radiotherapy , following oral surgery, during s with certain drugs which suppress saliva production such as some antidepressants and chemotherapy agents. Glandosane is prescribable on FP10/GP10 for patients suffering from a dry mouth as a result of radiotherapy or sicca syndrome (xerostomia). All prescriptions must be endorsed ACBS (Advisory Committee on Borderline Substances). DIRECTIONS FOR USE Spray onto the oral and pharyngeal mucosa for 1-2 seconds as often as required or as directed by a care professional. STORAGE Protect from direct sunlight.
